Most of the bathing in the countryside is done in public, either in the rivers and lakes or beside a well with a hand pump. Always with clothing on, except for young children. Most of the villages we passed through only had a well in the center for water.
We watched a young woman bathe herself at the community well from afar. I felt like a voyeur, but she was beautiful as she washed out her long black hair. It was difficult not to watch. We watched a father bathe his small son and a group of boys bathe in the river.
