As I began the walk back down the steep road, there were monkeys overhead on the wires and macaws in the trees above. Suddenly I didn’t feel so out of sorts, and instead felt that this was exactly where I wanted to be.
Part of blogging is trying to decide what is blog worthy. One could argue, not much generally but there are just some “moments” that beg to be captured.
This morning after only a few hours sleep, I ventured out of my room to get much needed coffee and breakfast. My Spanish was abysmal.
As we were parting he gave me the tip of a life time. “When you get to the airport anywhere, just tell them you need a wheelchair. They don’t ask any questions, you get whisked across the airport to your gate, and you’re the first to load.”
